DERMAL FILLERS
RESTORE YOUR YOUTH WITH DERMAL FILLERS AND FEEL YOUNGER & MORE VIBRANT
WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore loss of volume, smooth lines & soften creases, or enhance facial contours. More than 1 million men & women annually choose to have this popular facial rejuvenation treatment, which can be a cost-effective way to look younger without surgery or downtime.
While dermal fillers are casually known as “wrinkle fillers,” they can do much more than just smooth out wrinkles Here are a few of the common issues dermal fillers can help address:
-
Restore lost volume
-
Smooth out lines around the nose & mouth (aka marionette lines, smiles lines, and parentheses)
-
Enhance & restore volume to sunken cheeks, temples or under eyes
-
Diminish vertical lip lines
-
Plump & enhance the lips
-
Smooth out a chin crease
-
Improve symmetry among facial features.
We offer 2 different kinds of dermal fillers, hyaluronic acid fillers & collagen stimulating fillers.

HYALURONIC ACID
Hyaluronic Acid filler is a type of temporary dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally throughout the body, with the highest concentrations in the joints, eyes, and skin. In skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds and thin lips.
Injectable Hyaluronic Acid is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face & lips. The effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately. Restylane, Juvederm and Belotero are brands of Hyaluronic Acid filler that we offer to our patients.
COLLAGEN STIMULATING
Collagen stimulating fillers are another type of temporary dermal filler. Collagen is the main structural protein in our skin- it’s what helps it feel tight, taught & youthful. As we age our collagen production decreases. To be more specific, we lose 1% of collagen a year after the age of 18. Loss of collagen causes our skin to sag. Collagen stimulating fillers stimulates the body’s process of generating collagen and encourages growth, for a more refreshed appearance. Collagen stimulating fillers such as Radiesse & Sculptra are great for deep lines & creases.
